Rust Converter is a single-component, water-based rust converting treatment designed to chemically react with rust and convert active iron

oxide into a stable, dark protective layer. It helps stop further rust development and provides a suitable surface for subsequent protective

coating systems.

The product is designed for application on properly prepared ferrous metal surfaces and is suitable for maintenance, fabrication and

refurbishment applications where complete mechanical removal of rust is difficult. After conversion and adequate drying, the treated surface

can be overcoated with compatible primers and protective coatings.
